We started by meeting up as friends talking about cars from engine power, to in-car neons and alloy wheels… We kept thinking about this idea of bringing us together as a team/club that can represent ourselves at events and track days… it was all talk for a while, and then we met more and more people and thought, you know what, lets go for it. We had the website started and small business type cards made to hand out at events, regular meets and cruises, where we all met up and showed our cars off.
We got a logo created and vinyl decal stickers made, and we have now started to recruit more people that are interested!

We would like people to join the team who have the interest in modifying cars like the rest of the lads, and that are also committed to the team, plus a nutty side haha... Got to enjoy going round track corners at 80 – 100mph… SIDE WAYS.
Plus great ideas go a long way in our team, so don’t ever be afraid to stand up and state an idea.

You don’t need a Lamborghini to join our team, as long as you have the commitment and interest and want to get involved in showing off your car and have a great laugh, you can enjoy and get involved in what Essex Piston Headz has to offer…

We are now entering events starting in 2011 from track days to show and shine events so we can show off what we have to offer… This doesn’t mean you’re going to have to put your car on a track and smash your engine to pieces, but the offer is always there if you would want to of course.
If you know of events like Modified Nationals and Japshow for instance, you will know that they give out trophies for best styled car, best sounding car, best lit car and many more. We will always get club stands at events so we will always be involved in those, so could be in with a chance to win some trophies too…

We are always talking about what the future may hold for Essex Piston Headz, and I am sure with all the help of new comers and future events, we will grow and be bigger than ever!
